Who Makes a Good Franchisee Owner?
Compassionate and Caring People Wanted
There is not a particular background or type of experience that translates into the perfect franchise owner. Often, people are drawn to our industry because at one point they cared for a loved one, dealt with an elderly parent, or needed assistance in their own lives.
There is, however, one specific personal trait each franchise owner possesses: the genuine ability to care. Our culture is built around our moto “We’re all about the Care”. This caring attitude does not end with the franchisee. Each staff member and caregiver is compassionate, caring, and passionate about providing the best possible experience for our care recipients.
Some Additional Qualities
Business Acumen – Although it is not necessary to have a background in the home care industry, it is advantageous to have management experience. The understanding of how to develop compelling business strategies and communicate them effectively to your staff is invaluable in our organization.
Team Player – Working together, we can achieve more than one person acting alone. The franchise system is your team. Collectively and by collaborating, we are more creative and can accomplish more in less time. Our franchisees are committed team members not only to each other, but to their staff, caregivers and care recipients. They treat their teams with courtesy, respect, and are accountable to the teams’ goals.
Community Oriented – Our franchisees are well-known in their communities. They are active participants in community functions and industry specific events. In addition, the franchisor has created a charity organization called the Foundation for Senior Services. This foundation provides crucial information, education, resources, and support to help seniors live longer, happier, healthier lives. We encourage our franchisees to establish their own local chapter in their community. By doing so, our franchisees become a trusted resource in their community and a leader in their industry.
